New Delhi – In a significant development aimed at transforming Haryana’s tourism landscape, Chief Minister of Haryana Nayab Singh Saini paid a courtesy visit to Union Minister of Culture and Tourism, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, in the national capital on Tuesday. During the meeting, the Chief Minister proposed an ambitious plan to develop a Disneyland-style amusement park in the Delhi-NCR region.
Describing the project as a potential game-changer, the Chief Minister said the envisioned entertainment hub would deliver wide-ranging economic, cultural, and social benefits—not only to Haryana but to the entire country.
“This world-class amusement center aims to leverage the strong market potential and excellent connectivity of the NCR region. It will be an iconic attraction that enhances India’s tourism profile,” said the Chief Minister, as per a statement released by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
The project, still in the planning stage, is expected to generate thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities. It will also catalyze the development of surrounding infrastructure, including hotels, transport, and retail services, ultimately transforming the region into a high-growth zone.
