Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Launches Yoga Training Drive Ahead of International Day of Yoga

CM Saini joins Yoga protocol training in Panchkula, announces participation of over 11 lakh people across Haryana on June 21, including a mega event with Baba Ramdev.

Panchkula, June 13 — Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday attended the International Day of Yoga protocol training program in Panchkula, emphasizing the vital role of yoga in promoting public health and discipline.

Addressing the gathering, CM Saini said, “If we practice Yoga daily, it will help us avoid diseases. Yoga not only gives us good health but also inculcates discipline. I am confident that this yoga program will help maintain our soldiers' mental and physical health.”

The Chief Minister announced that on June 21, International Day of Yoga, more than 11 lakh people from all 22 districts of Haryana are expected to take part in state-wide yoga events. A grand program led by yoga guru Baba Ramdev, with around 1 lakh participants, will be held at the historic Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra.

The Panchkula event was part of a broader awareness and training campaign being rolled out in advance of the global yoga celebration. Government officials, trainers, and yoga enthusiasts participated in the session to promote the state’s preparations for the international event.
