In response to the growing India-Pakistan military tensions, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini chaired a special meeting in Chandigarh on Monday to review the state’s preparedness and security measures. Senior officials, including the Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, and other key members of the administration, were in attendance.
The meeting, aimed at assessing the situation and ensuring effective governance during the ongoing crisis, was attended by district commissioners (DCs), superintendents of police (SPs), and other senior officers across Haryana via video conferencing.
“We are closely monitoring the situation and ensuring all precautionary measures are in place to safeguard the public,” CM Saini stated during the briefing. He further emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among various administrative units and law enforcement agencies in managing any potential threats or disruptions.
