Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday addressed a press conference, detailing discussions with labor representatives and key infrastructure developments in the state.
"Today, a discussion was held with Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh representatives on some issues. Some of their demands have been accepted, while others are under consideration. It was a fruitful discussion," Saini stated, highlighting the government's engagement with labor concerns.
Additionally, the Chief Minister provided an update on the establishment of a supercritical unit in Yamuna Nagar, a significant step towards enhancing the state's power infrastructure. He confirmed that a High Purchase Committee meeting was held to finalize details of the project. "The environmental clearance for the project has been obtained. BHEL has been entrusted with setting up the unit, which will commence on April 21 and is expected to be completed within two and a half years," he announced.
