Haryana CM Announces Survey for PMAY, 2200 New Amrit Sarovars

Chandigarh – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has made significant announcements regarding the state’s development initiatives, focusing on housing, water conservation, and renewable energy. In a statement, CM Saini shared the government’s commitment to providing homes to the underprivileged and furthering environmental sustainability.

“I have issued orders to the officials for carrying out a survey and providing benefits to the beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY),” said CM Saini. He reiterated the government’s focus on ensuring affordable housing for the poor.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the success of the Amrit Sarovar Yojana, which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Under the scheme, 2000 ‘Amrit Sarovars’ were built in Haryana. Orders have been given to build 2200 more ‘Amrit Sarovars’ in the state,” he added, emphasizing the importance of the initiative in promoting water conservation and improving local infrastructure.

In a bid to further promote green energy and sustainability, Saini also announced the goal of installing one lakh solar panels across Haryana. “We have set up a target of setting up one lakh solar panels in the state,” he said, underlining the state’s commitment to renewable energy and reducing its carbon footprint.
