Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday announced financial assistance and relief measures for states severely impacted by heavy rains and floods, including Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Punjab.

Addressing a press conference, Saini expressed concern over the widespread damage and hardship caused by the floods, assuring that Haryana stands with the affected states during this crisis. “In this situation, the government of Haryana and the people of Haryana stand in solidarity with the affected,” he said.

The Chief Minister confirmed that Haryana has released ₹5 crore in relief aid for Himachal Pradesh to support those affected by the disaster. He further added that similar assistance has been extended to Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab, which have also experienced severe flooding in recent days.
