Haryana: Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini highlighted the impact of the Agnipath scheme, implemented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 14, 2022, which deploys Agniveers in the Indian Army for four years. "Agnipath scheme was implemented by PM Modi on 14th June 2022. Under this scheme, Agniveer is deployed in the Indian Army for 4 years," Saini stated.
In a move to support these dedicated individuals, CM Saini announced that the Haryana government will offer a 10% horizontal reservation for Agniveers in direct recruitment to various state government positions. "Our government will provide 10% horizontal reservation to Agniveers in Haryana in direct recruitment to the posts of Constable, Mining Guard, Forest Guard, Jail Warden, and SPO recruited by the state government," he explained.
