Haryana Budget Session 2025 to Begin Tomorrow, May Be Extended If Needed

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has confirmed that the state's Budget Session for 2025 will commence tomorrow, following an address by the governor. Speaking at a press conference in Chandigarh, Saini stated that the session may be extended if necessary, ensuring ample time for discussions and deliberations.

“The (Budget) Session will begin tomorrow following an address by the governor. (The Session) can be extended if needed. The House will stay closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is going to be the first Budget Session of this government, and the Budget will be presented following the governor's address,” Saini said.

This will be the first Budget Session of the current BJP-led government in Haryana under Saini’s leadership. The session is expected to focus on key economic policies, welfare schemes, and infrastructural developments in the state. With significant challenges such as job creation, agricultural support, and industrial growth on the agenda, the session holds critical importance for Haryana’s governance in the coming financial year.
