Baramati, Maharashtra: As the Maharashtra Assembly election nominations closed today, NCP-SCP candidate Harshvardhan Patil shared his confidence in the Maha Vikas Aghadi’s (MVA) prospects. Patil, who is representing the Indapur constituency, expressed optimism about the coalition’s chances, citing a strong public trust in the MVA.
“Today is the last day of nominations. After 3rd November, the political scenario in the state will become clear. There is trust for Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in people, and MVA will win,” said Patil. He emphasized the appeal of change led by young leaders, noting that Yugendra Pawar, the MVA's candidate, is the youngest to receive an election ticket from the party. Patil credited Pawar’s nomination to the blessings and influence of senior leader Pawar sahib, who he described as a powerful figure in the Baramati region.
Patil encouraged voters to consider youth-led leadership, hinting that change driven by younger voices could resonate with the constituency’s desires for progress. “People need change led by youth. I hope the people of Baramati will think about this. This is Pawar sahib's bastion,” he remarked, expressing confidence that Pawar's influence and youth energy could help secure a win in Indapur for the MVA.
