New Delhi: Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, attending the Delhi University Literature Festival, lauded the vibrant discussions on books and literature, emphasizing the significance of DU’s academic and cultural contributions over the past century.

“There is a lot of enthusiasm and energy here. In this literary festival, the discussion is about books and literature in all forms,” Puri remarked, appreciating the dynamic engagement of students and scholars at the event.

Reflecting on his recent editorial role, Puri shared insights about his contribution to a book commemorating 100 years of Delhi University. “Our session here was about the opportunity I got last year, where I was requested to edit a book on 100 years of DU. We invited 14-15 eminent people who had contributed to university life and went on to make a name for themselves,” he stated.

He further expressed his delight in interacting with students from different colleges and engaging in discussions with experienced academics and professionals. “It’s a very good experience to meet young people from different colleges and engage in a discussion with somewhat older people,” he added.
