Delhi: Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has expressed confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) performance in the upcoming Haryana elections, describing it as "very good." During his statement, Puri also took the opportunity to criticize Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his recent foreign trip.
Puri remarked that Gandhi, as the leader of the opposition, should be more focused on national issues rather than traveling abroad. "Rahul Gandhi is on a foreign trip. He should remember that he is now the leader of the opposition," Puri stated. He accused Gandhi of being inconsistent, highlighting a contrast between his Bharat Jodo (Unite India) campaign and his critical remarks about India.
Furthermore, Puri suggested that Gandhi has "very deep relations with China," adding another layer to his criticism. This comment reflects ongoing tensions between the BJP and Congress over foreign policy and domestic political strategies.
