Gujarat Launches New Ambulances and ICU Vans for Navratri Festival

In a significant move to bolster healthcare services during the Navratri festival, Gujarat Health Minister Rushikesh Patel announced the launch of 100 new 108 ambulances and 38 ICU vans in Gandhinagar. This initiative aims to ensure prompt medical assistance and enhance emergency response capabilities throughout the state during this festive season.

Minister Patel emphasized the importance of maintaining the 108 Ambulance service to effectively serve the community. He noted, "We properly maintain the 108 Ambulance for the service." Additionally, the state has deployed 10 new food safety vans, along with 22 existing ones, to further support public health and safety during the celebrations.

The minister reassured residents that proper medical arrangements have been established in anticipation of increased festivities and gatherings. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has directed that free ambulance services will be provided during this period to facilitate easy access to medical care for everyone celebrating the festival.

As Navratri is celebrated with enthusiasm across Gujarat, the state government aims to ensure the health and safety of its citizens by improving emergency medical services. The launch of these new ambulances and ICU vans is expected to significantly enhance the capacity to respond to health emergencies, reflecting the government's commitment to public health and welfare.
