GANDHINAGAR: Gujarat has made significant strides in improving access to clean drinking water, especially in its rural regions, with the introduction of a new 24/7 toll-free helpline. The 1916 helpline, launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, is designed to address water-related concerns across the state, offering citizens an easy and efficient way to report issues such as pump failures, pipeline leaks, and water quality problems.
The helpline has been established as part of Gujarat’s ongoing efforts to enhance its water supply infrastructure and ensure that clean drinking water is available to every citizen. By providing a direct communication line, the helpline allows citizens to immediately report any water-related issues, ensuring timely and effective action.
