Gandhinagar, Gujarat: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel led a significant conference of District Collectors and Development Officers in Gandhinagar, focused on reviewing the district-level implementation of crucial schemes across sectors like revenue, rural development, urban development, tourism, and education.

During the meeting, CM Patel emphasized the core principles of good governance, urging officials to prioritize efficient resolution of public grievances. “Field visits are essential for stronger public engagement,” he noted, highlighting the importance of connecting with the ground realities to improve governance.

The Chief Minister also made a strong call for transparency, stressing a “zero tolerance against corruption.” He emphasized the need for officials to ensure uniform interpretation of policies to avoid confusion and ensure equitable implementation of government programs.

Patel underscored that all efforts must align with Gujarat’s long-term vision for 2047, with a focus on sustainable development and inclusive growth. “We must work transparently for the welfare of the people and remain steadfast in our commitment to progress,” he stated.

The conference served as a platform to review the progress of government schemes, exchange ideas, and address challenges in district-level administration.
