Gujarat CM Questions Congress-National Conference Alliance

In Gandhinagar, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel expressed strong concerns over the Congress Party's recent alliance with the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference for the upcoming J&K Assembly elections. Patel accused Congress of compromising the unity and security of India in its pursuit of political power.

He questioned whether Congress supports the promises made by the National Conference, including the restoration of Article 370 and 35A, which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Patel also highlighted concerns about the promise of a separate flag for the region, suggesting it could lead to a return to an era of instability and terrorism.
