Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel Meets Vietnam Ambassador to Boost Trade Ties

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Thursday met the Ambassador of Vietnam, H.E. Nguyen Thanh Hai, on the sidelines of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference – North Region held in Mehsana. The meeting focused on enhancing economic and trade cooperation between Gujarat and Vietnam.

In a post on social media, the Chief Minister said he had invited Vietnam to take advantage of Gujarat’s advanced logistics and port infrastructure to expand exports to markets in the Middle East and other global regions. He also highlighted Gujarat’s position as a leading hub for industrial investment, renewable energy, and maritime connectivity.

Patel appreciated the enduring economic and cultural ties between Vietnam and Gujarat, emphasizing the shared commitment to strengthening collaboration across multiple sectors, including trade, investment, and technology.
