Warangal, Telangana: A massive theft was reported in the State Bank of India (SBI) branch in Rayaparthy, Warangal district, where 19 kg of gold ornaments, worth approximately ₹13 crore, were stolen from the bank’s strongroom on Monday midnight.

Commissioner of Police, Warangal, Ambar Kishor Jha, confirmed the incident and stated that the theft appears to be a professional job. "The police have inspected the bank's surroundings and are investigating. Evidence suggests the involvement of skilled individuals," he remarked.

Authorities suspect that the robbers meticulously planned the heist. They likely conducted reconnaissance of the premises before executing the crime. The police are reviewing CCTV footage from the branch and surrounding areas, and forensic experts have been called in to analyze evidence at the scene.
