Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant convened a high-level meeting at Mantralaya to review and address key concerns in the state’s transport sector. The meeting focused on implementing measures for accident control, streamlining operations at border check posts, and integrating advanced technology for smoother transport management.

“Chaired a meeting today to review the concerns of the transport sector including measures for accident control, border check posts with enhancement in technology for smooth operation, at Mantralaya in the presence of officials of Goa Police, Traffic Department, IT Department, Info Tech Corporation of Goa among others,” Sawant posted on social media following the session.

The meeting saw participation from senior officials across crucial departments including Goa Police, the Traffic Department, and the IT Department, along with representatives from the Info Tech Corporation of Goa. The agenda highlighted the need for better coordination among agencies, modern surveillance tools, and tech-driven solutions to monitor and manage traffic and border security effectively.
