Panaji, Goa | Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant graced the award presentation ceremony organized by the Art and Cultural Department for the Goa State Cultural Awards. Held at the prestigious Kala Academy, the event celebrated individuals and organizations for their exceptional contributions to art, culture, and literature in the state.
The ceremony honored achievements in three prominent categories: Yuva Srujan Puraskar, recognizing young talent for their creative contributions; Best Cultural Institute, highlighting institutions that have significantly enriched Goa’s cultural heritage; and Best Library & Librarian Award, appreciating excellence in library services and literary promotion.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Sawant commended the awardees for their dedication and creativity in preserving and promoting Goa's rich cultural legacy. "The Goa State Cultural Awards reflect our commitment to acknowledging and encouraging excellence in arts, literature, and cultural development. These honorees inspire us to work harder toward sustaining and enhancing our cultural identity," he said.
