Mumbai: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Monday highlighted the significance of occupational safety and worker welfare after attending OSH India, South Asia’s largest event focused on occupational safety and health.
Speaking at the exhibition-cum-seminar, Sawant congratulated the organisers for creating a platform dedicated to safety and health awareness. “I congratulate OSH India for organising this exhibition-cum-seminar on safety and health. The most important priority here is the workers, and their safety is of utmost importance,” he said.
The event brings together experts, policymakers, industry leaders, and safety professionals to discuss best practices, innovations, and strategies for ensuring safe work environments across sectors. Organisers emphasized that such gatherings aim to promote awareness about workplace hazards, regulatory compliance, and modern safety technologies.
