Patna: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday addressed an NDA workers’ convention in Patna, where he praised the alliance’s role in Bihar’s development and appealed for continued support to ensure its return to power.

Sawant said, “The development of Bihar has been carried out by the NDA government. Now, it is up to you to decide whether you want to take this journey of progress forward or not. If you do, then once again, with your support, this government can return.”

In his speech, Sawant criticized the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), referring to it as the “Chara Chor Sarkar,” a phrase historically used to highlight corruption cases linked to the party. He contrasted this with the NDA’s governance model, which he described as being built on four key pillars.

“I have seen the NDA government closely; it is working for four pillars: youth power, women empowerment, farmers’ strength, and welfare of the poor. Not for caste, not for religion, only for these four strengths,” he said.
