Faridabad, Haryana | Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Sunday praised security agencies for the timely recovery of 360 kg of suspected ammonium nitrate and other ammunition from Haryana’s Faridabad, warning that the incident could have led to devastation had it gone undetected.
“I thank the government as the explosives were recovered in time. Had it been during the Congress rule, Delhi and Haryana would have been shaken like the Mumbai blasts,” Singh said, crediting the current administration for acting swiftly.
The Union Minister further alleged that those defending the accused were engaging in “vote-bank politics” and ignoring the roots of religious extremism. “Sadly, those who are caught say terrorism has no religion — but this is religious terrorism. Be it Tejashwi, Owaisi, Rahul, or anyone else, they defend them for vote-bank politics,” he remarked.
Singh claimed that the recovery points to a larger network and warned that further details could reveal how grave the threat was. “More information will emerge, and then we’ll know how dangerous this was. Those who call themselves secular are standing behind such people,” he added.
