New Delhi: Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Wednesday levelled strong allegations against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, claiming she has consistently supported what he described as Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrators across the country. Speaking to reporters, Singh asserted that the political structure in the state was dependent on such groups and accused Banerjee of encouraging an environment harmful to national interests.
“Mamata Banerjee has from the beginning supported Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrators across the country,” Singh said, further alleging that the West Bengal government functions with the backing of these groups. He went on to claim that the Chief Minister engages in actions that “spread hatred,” violate constitutional principles and work against the interests of the Hindu community.
