Delhi: Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi criticized Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, labeling him the "derailment minister" due to recent train accidents. "How many trains have been derailed in the last two years? In the last two months, four goods trains have been derailed," Gogoi stated.
He further urged Vaishnaw to resign, holding him accountable for the deaths of about 300 people in the Balasore incident. "He should have resigned taking moral responsibility for the tragedy," Gogoi added, emphasizing the need for accountability in the wake of repeated train derailments.
