Raipur: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday made significant progress in the 2023 Army Jawan murder case in Chhattisgarh, arresting four individuals linked to the CPI (Maoist).

The arrested accused have been identified as Bhawan Lal Jain alias Bhuwan Jain, his associate Suresh Kumar Salam, along with Shailendra Kumar Baghel alias Golu and Anduram Salam. According to the NIA, these individuals were directly involved in the conspiracy leading to the killing of the Army personnel.

The murder, which occurred in Maoist-affected regions of Chhattisgarh, was part of a larger insurgent strategy to target security forces. Investigators believe that the arrested individuals played a crucial role in planning and executing the attack.
