Srinagar – Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) President and former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah on Monday responded to Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s announcement in Lok Sabha about the elimination of terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack during Operation Mahadev.
While acknowledging he could not personally identify the individuals killed in the operation, Abdullah said, “Since I don't know them, those who have seen them, can only identify. If they were the same, it is great, they got this lesson that terrorism can never succeed.”
His comments came shortly after Shah informed Parliament that all three terrorists responsible for the Pahalgam attack had been neutralized in a counter-terrorism operation conducted by Indian security forces.
Operation Mahadev was launched in response to the targeted attack in Pahalgam, which had drawn widespread condemnation and sparked calls for swift justice. The Union Home Minister stated that the mission achieved “pin-point accuracy” and fulfilled all its objectives.
