New Delhi | Former AAP leader Praveen Kumar has officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), citing his admiration for the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his desire to better serve the public. In a statement after his induction, Kumar expressed his frustration over his inability to work effectively in his constituency during his time with the Aam Aadmi Party.
"I got inspired by the policies of BJP and PM Modi and joined BJP today," Kumar stated. "People elect us so that we can work for them, but if we can't go to them and do their work, then we are useless to the public. For the last two years, I couldn’t do any work in my constituency."
Kumar’s move is seen as a significant shift, reflecting growing discontent within AAP ranks as he expressed hope that his association with BJP would enable him to work more effectively for the people.
