Karnataka: On the Congress' 'Jan Andolan Yatra', Karnataka Congress President and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar expressed confidence in his party's support, stating, "I know my strength and my party's strength. I know the people will stand by us. They know the facts and that is why they are supporting us."

Addressing allegations against the Congress government in Karnataka, Shivakumar remarked, "He is the second-term CM. There is no medicine for jealousy. The 5 guarantees we gave have been discussed all over the country. I think the Central government is worried that if this trend goes on then they will also have to give it (guarantees) to the entire country. So, they want to destabilise the government and the party."
