PATNA — As the Bihar Assembly elections 2025 draw closer, a fresh controversy has erupted between two Bhojpuri superstars turned politicians — Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’ and Khesari Lal Yadav.
Responding to RJD candidate Khesari Lal Yadav’s recent remarks suggesting that a hospital should have been built instead of the Ram Temple, former BJP MP Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’ launched a sharp attack, calling his statement “nonsensical” and “disrespectful.”
“I believe a person should understand what they are doing,” Nirahua said while addressing reporters. “If you want to protest, protest against the BJP or its candidate — but how dare you speak against the Ram Temple? Hindus have been fighting for the temple for 500 years. Many sacrificed their lives, and now after the court’s verdict, you’re speaking such nonsense about the site.”
He further added that those making such remarks could be called “Yadmullas,” taking a swipe at Khesari for allegedly appeasing a section of voters.
