Dehradun | Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making the current decade “the decade of Uttarakhand.” His remarks came during the Silver Jubilee celebrations marking 25 years of the state’s formation.
Dhami said the people of Uttarakhand were “fortunate” to have PM Modi’s guidance and participation in the state’s 25-year milestone celebration. “Yesterday, the Prime Minister again said that this would be the decade of Uttarakhand. To turn his words into reality, our government is committed to working tirelessly,” the Chief Minister said.
Highlighting his administration’s achievements, Dhami noted that over the past four years, the state government has implemented more than 30 new policies across multiple sectors — ranging from employment generation and infrastructure development to tourism and education reforms.
He added that these initiatives have helped Uttarakhand overcome numerous challenges and emerge as a leading state in various domains. “As a result of these efforts, our state has overcome various challenges and emerged as a leading state in the country in many areas,” Dhami remarked.
