On the arrest of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and the upcoming assembly elections, Delhi Congress President Devendra Yadav commented, "It is the responsibility of the jail authorities to take care of the health of a sitting CM who has been arrested. Since the jail comes under the jurisdiction of the Delhi Government, the matter should not be politicized."
Yadav also criticized the AAP government for not fulfilling their promise to reduce electricity prices, stating, "This is the same government who claimed they would halve the electricity prices, but now they have doubled it, and the government seems unbothered. We will urge them to revise the prices, and if they do not agree, we will take to the streets."
Regarding the upcoming Delhi assembly elections, Yadav clarified, "Our political alliance was limited to Lok Sabha elections. For the upcoming elections in Delhi, we are strengthening our presence on all 70 seats. Our party cadre is working hard. We are not in any kind of political alliance for the upcoming elections."
