Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed optimism about the BJP's chances in the 2024 Assembly elections, attributing the party's expected success to a rise in voter turnout.

Speaking on the exit poll predictions, Fadnavis said, "BJP always gets an advantage whenever there is a rise in voting percentage. Even now, the data is showing that the voting percentage has increased in the state, and I am sure that Mahayuti and BJP will get advantage of this."

Fadnavis emphasized that higher voter participation typically works in favor of the BJP and its allies, citing past trends. The Mahayuti alliance, comprising the BJP and its partners, is confident that the increased turnout will contribute to their success in Maharashtra's 2024 Assembly elections.
