New Delhi: Delhi continued to receive rainfall on Tuesday morning, bringing much-needed relief from the heat and helping to improve the city’s air quality. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the national capital will experience generally cloudy skies with moderate rainfall throughout the day.

The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 35.6 degrees Celsius, slightly below the seasonal average, owing to cloud cover and scattered showers across the region.

Along with the rains, Delhi's air quality has shown notable improvement. As per data released by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) at 9 AM, the city's Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 63, placing it in the ‘satisfactory’ category. This improvement is attributed largely to rainfall-induced settling of dust and pollutants in the atmosphere.
