Delhi: Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Parvesh Verma carried out an inspection along the Ring Road on Saturday, accompanied by officials from the department. The visit was aimed at reviewing the progress of ongoing works and assessing the ground reality of infrastructure projects along one of the city’s busiest corridors.
The minister and officials travelled together by bus to multiple locations along the Ring Road to directly observe the condition of works being executed. The exercise sought to ensure that senior officers had firsthand exposure to the pace and quality of the projects under implementation.
The Ring Road, which handles a large share of Delhi’s traffic, is undergoing multiple repair and development activities. These include road surface improvement, traffic management measures, and infrastructure upgrades intended to ease congestion and improve commuter safety.
