Delhi – Delhi Police has issued a notice to AAP MLA Mohinder Goyal and his office staff, requesting their participation in an investigation concerning the alleged creation of fake Aadhaar cards. According to sources, the investigation involves claims that documents were generated for individuals from Bangladesh using fraudulent methods.

However, in response to the notice, MLA Goyal has denied any wrongdoing. "I have not received any notice yet. I have come to know that two officials of Delhi Police came to my house to give me a notice around 5 pm. They said that this is a matter of making (Aadhaar) cards for Bangladeshis," Goyal said.

He strongly refuted the accusations, stating, “Nothing like this has been done from my side till date. This is only politically motivated. We neither do any wrong nor are we in favour of any wrongdoing...all this is politically motivated. And I think our local candidates have some hand in this.”
