New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday announced that the city government has set a target to open 100 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs each month, aimed at expanding primary healthcare access across the capital.

In a post on social media, Gupta said the initiative is designed to make medical services more accessible and community-focused. “The Delhi government has set a target to open 100 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs every month to make health services more accessible and empowered,” she stated.

The Chief Minister added that in certain areas, the facilities would be set up in larger spaces than prescribed to ensure they can also function as relief centers during emergencies. The Ayushman Arogya Mandirs will focus on treatment of common and seasonal ailments within localities, thereby reducing the additional burden on hospitals.

“Our resolve is that every citizen of Delhi gets a dignified, reliable, and modern medical system right near their home,” Gupta said.
