New Delhi | Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Tuesday hit back at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over its remarks questioning the government’s inaction on cloud seeding as a pollution-control measure. Speaking at a press conference, Sirsa accused AAP of making uninformed and politically motivated statements without understanding the science behind the process.

“Aam Admi Party have been continuously saying that why didn’t we do cloud seeding? They are so wasted in revenge,” Sirsa said, responding to AAP’s allegations. “I want to tell them that the cloud seeding which they are talking about — in that first cloud comes and then seeding happens,” he added, emphasizing that the procedure depends on favourable meteorological conditions.
