Delhi: A Delhi court on Monday formally framed charges against Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi, and their son, Tejashwi Yadav, in connection with the alleged Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) scam.

The development comes less than a month before the Bihar Assembly elections, adding a significant political dimension to the ongoing campaign. The charges pertain to alleged irregularities and financial misconduct in the IRCTC case, in which the accused are alleged to have benefited unlawfully from certain contracts and dealings.
