New Delhi | Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has called for a unified national effort to position India as a global leader by the time it completes 100 years of Independence in 2047.
Speaking about India's future vision, Gupta said, "The country is moving towards 2047, 100 years of Independence. The country should emerge as a developed nation and stamp its authority as 'Vishwa Guru'." She stressed that achieving this goal requires active participation from all segments of society, including citizens, state governments, and various organisations.
Acknowledging the role of the central government in steering the nation towards this objective, Gupta noted, "The central government is performing its role for the same. Similarly, the state governments and all other organisations should define their role and become a part of the country's this journey."
