Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Stresses Importance of Training for Revenue Officials

New Delhi: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday underlined the significance of training programmes for government officials, stating that proper training is essential to ensure effective service delivery to citizens.

Speaking at the inauguration of a two-day training programme for Tehsildars and sub-registrars of the revenue department, Gupta noted that Delhi had previously not followed any consistent system of training for its officials. She described the current initiative as a necessary step toward improving administrative efficiency and responsiveness.

“There has been no concept of any training for any official in Delhi. However, I believe that good training is most important for officers. To resolve the issues of the people, it is important that government officials are well-trained,” the Chief Minister said.
