New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday expressed deep grief over the passing of senior BJP leader and veteran parliamentarian Vijay Kumar Malhotra. She described his death as an irreparable loss, not only for the Bharatiya Janata Party but also for every party worker.
Remembering him as a leader who played a central role in shaping the capital’s growth, Gupta said Malhotra was revered as a “Vikas Purush” for his commitment to development. “He worked tirelessly for the city’s progress, and his demise marks the end of an era,” she said in her condolence message.
Highlighting his contributions, Gupta noted that the growth and confidence Delhi witnessed during his leadership will remain etched in history. She added that Malhotra’s life and work would continue to inspire generations of political workers.
