New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday visited the residence of veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader VK Malhotra to pay her tributes. Malhotra, a senior figure in Delhi politics, is remembered for his long-standing contributions to the development of the national capital.
Speaking to reporters during her visit, Gupta highlighted his role in shaping Delhi’s political and civic landscape. “Senior leader Malhotra made a major contribution to Delhi. He was the foundation for setting up Delhi as it is today,” she said.
The Chief Minister also recalled her personal association with the veteran leader. “He blessed me with his best wishes when I became the CM of Delhi. He was an inspiring person,” Gupta added.
