New Delhi: On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta visited the Shri Ganesh Temple at Connaught Place on Tuesday and performed traditional worship rituals, offering prayers for peace, prosperity, and collective well-being.
In a message shared on social media, Gupta described her experience at the temple and invoked the blessings of Lord Ganesha, whom she referred to as Mangalmurti. “On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi today, I performed worship and darshan at the Shri Ganesh Temple located in Connaught Place and received blessings,” she wrote.
She highlighted the symbolic importance of Lord Ganesha in everyday life, noting, “The many forms of Mangalmurti Ganpati bestow the boons of wisdom, discernment, success, and prosperity in life. Such is His glory that wherever Vinayak resides, there dwells joy, good fortune, and auspiciousness.”
Extending her wishes to the people of the capital, the Chief Minister prayed for prosperity in every household. “O Ganpati Bappa, may You illuminate every home and courtyard in Delhi with Your blessings and fill everyone's life with new successes and new joys. Ganpati Bappa Morya!” she said.
