Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Lays Foundation Stone for Foot Overbridge at Rajputana Rifles Centre

Delhi – Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday laid the foundation stone for a foot overbridge at the Rajputana Rifles Regimental Centre, addressing safety concerns of the personnel. Speaking at the event, she highlighted the challenges faced by soldiers during their daily routines and training, noting that they often have to bend or navigate difficult paths and open drains.

“Our brave soldiers frequently encounter hurdles during their routine movements,” CM Gupta said. “The Rajputana Rifles team brought this concern to our attention, and we have taken it seriously. The government has approved the construction of a foot overbridge, which will ensure safety and convenience for our personnel.”

She added that the bridge would be constructed in a short span of time and that laying the foundation stone today marked the official commencement of the project. Officials present at the ceremony confirmed that the bridge is designed to facilitate smooth and secure movement for the soldiers and will be a significant improvement in infrastructure within the regimental area.
