Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday inaugurated free dialysis and thalassemia testing services, aiming to strengthen healthcare access for residents.
Speaking at the event, the CM highlighted that the city’s healthcare requirements currently exceed available facilities. She stated that inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, collective efforts can help the nation grow and improve public health. “Our goal is to develop the country’s health sector so that no one loses their life due to lack of treatment,” she added.
The new services are expected to provide critical support for patients requiring regular dialysis and those needing thalassemia screening, addressing gaps in healthcare access and affordability. Officials noted that similar initiatives will continue to be implemented to enhance the overall health infrastructure in Delhi.
