New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta led a powerful tribute to the Indian Armed Forces during a women's Tiranga Yatra, praising their role in Operation Sindoor and reaffirming national unity in the face of terrorism. Addressing a gathering of women supporters, Gupta expressed deep gratitude to the forces for their courage and decisive action.
“Today, we have all gathered here. All women of the country bow before the Indian armed forces,” Gupta said. “Through Operation Sindoor, the way they protected the honour of crores of women, safeguarded the borders, and destroyed terrorist camps, I thank them from the bottom of my heart.”
She also lauded the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Government of India for what she described as empowered and resolute decision-making. “The Prime Minister ordered the armed forces to go and destroy every terrorist camp in Pakistan. Pakistan received a befitting reply,” she added.
Highlighting the symbolic significance of the event, she noted that the Tiranga Yatra, also called the Sindoor Yatra, was organized by women to show solidarity with the nation and the armed forces. “The 140 crore people of India are united. These women stand shoulder to shoulder with our soldiers and the Government of India,” she said.
