Marking the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta extended her heartfelt wishes to citizens and reaffirmed her commitment to being a people's leader. Speaking to the media on Friday, CM Gupta highlighted the spiritual and cultural significance of the day while emphasizing her active participation in citywide celebrations.

“It is a big matter of happiness as today is Hanuman Jayanti,” she said. “Since Ram Navami, many big events are being organised across the city by various communities. I am fortunate that as Delhi’s Chief Minister, I will be attending many of these events today.”

Expressing solidarity with the people of Delhi, Gupta said, “I want to assure everyone that as your CM, it is my responsibility to participate in your joy. I stand with you not only in moments of happiness but also in times of sorrow.”

In her message, the Chief Minister also offered a prayerful hope for peace, health, and prosperity. “Let all the devilish forces go back to their place and let positive energies become active. May everyone remain healthy and prosperous,” she said.

Gupta concluded her remarks by tying the celebrations to a broader vision for progress: “We will witness a Viksit Delhi along with a Viksit Bharat.” Her comments reflect a blend of spiritual reverence and developmental optimism, setting the tone for a day of both celebration and civic commitment.
