Today, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all sisters in Delhi and across the country. May this Karva Chauth fast be auspicious for everyone.”
The Chief Minister emphasized the cultural and emotional significance of Karva Chauth, which symbolizes devotion, love, and the sacred bond between married couples. The festival, traditionally observed by married women, involves a day-long fast for the health, prosperity, and longevity of their husbands, culminating with the sighting of the moon and prayers for mutual well-being.
