New Delhi | In the aftermath of the tragic killing of a teenage boy in Delhi’s Seelampur, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has assured the public that the authorities are actively pursuing the case and that justice will be delivered swiftly to the victim's family.
Speaking to the media, CM Gupta said, “I had a conversation with the police commissioner. The boy's name is Kunal, whose age is around 17–18 years… He was attacked by a knife. He was taken to Jaiprakash Hospital by his family and was declared dead.”
The incident has sparked concern over rising youth violence in the national capital. According to Gupta, the Delhi Police have already registered an FIR and launched a manhunt to track down those responsible for the attack. “Police are after those who are accused in this matter. We hope that they will be caught very soon,” she added.
The Chief Minister emphasized the seriousness of the case and reiterated the government’s commitment to law and order. “Justice will be served to the family. FIR has been filed and police are doing their work,” she affirmed.
