New Delhi – In a fiery address following the announcement of assembly election dates, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi accused the BJP-led central government of orchestrating her eviction from the Chief Minister’s residence for the second time in three months. She claimed that such actions are attempts to derail her administration but vowed to continue serving the people of Delhi.
“The BJP-led central government has thrown me out of the Chief Minister's residence for the second time in three months,” Atishi stated. “The BJP thinks that they will stop us from working by snatching our houses, abusing us, and speaking ill about my family. They can snatch our houses, stop our work, but they cannot stop our passion for working for the people of Delhi.”
She recounted a similar incident three months ago when her belongings were allegedly thrown onto the street. Despite the challenges, Atishi reaffirmed her commitment to the people. “If needed, I will come and stay at the homes of the people of Delhi and keep working for them,” she declared.
Outlining her vision for the future, Atishi pledged to implement key welfare initiatives, including:
Rs 2,100 financial assistance for every woman in Delhi.
An honorarium of Rs 18,000 for priests and granthis.
Free healthcare for the elderly under the Sanjeevani Yojana.
In a direct message to her political opponents, she said, “The BJP should remember, today when they have again thrown me out of the Chief Minister's residence, I take an oath to fulfill these promises.”
